This POPIA Compliance Statement summarises how UNO seeks to comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

This statement applies to personal information processed by UNO in relation to customers, suppliers, service providers, website users, employees, representatives and all other persons who interact with UNO.

7. Security Safeguards

UNO takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to identify foreseeable internal and external risks, establish and maintain appropriate safeguards, verify that those safeguards are effectively implemented and continually update them in response to new risks or identified deficiencies.

8. Operators and Third Parties

Where UNO appoints operators or third-party service providers to process personal information, UNO takes reasonable steps to ensure that those parties process personal information confidentially, securely and only for authorised purposes.

9. Security Compromises

If UNO has reasonable grounds to believe that personal information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person, UNO will notify the Information Regulator and affected data subjects where required by POPIA.
