The KS-Zigzag Series features highly specialized rotary hooks engineered to handle the unique timing demands of swing-needle (zigzag) industrial sewing machines [Pages 5, 6]. Unlike standard inline lockstitch hooks, zigzag hooks must maintain an extended point catching zone to reliably grab the needle thread loop at both the maximum left and right needle throws (bight positions). Manufactured from high-tensile, friction-resistant hardened steel, this series ensures perfect stitch synthesis up to high cycle speeds without needle-striking or heat deformation. The series features standard polished hooks, low-friction Teflon-coated bases (TS) to handle complex synthetic needle heat, and specialized wide-body configurations optimized for legendary machines.
